Stop letting your heaters kill your yield

If you’re running a Class 100 cleanroom, you already know the nightmare. One tiny speck of dust or a bit of outgassing, and your yield just tanks. It’s frustrating. Especially when the very tools you use to dry your wafers or fab components are the ones shedding particles into your workspace.
That’s why we shifted to high-purity synthetic quartz IR lamps.
The secret is in the quartz.
We use fused quartz with almost zero impurities. Why? Because when things get hot, cheap materials start releasing metallic ions or organic compounds. Not great. Quartz doesn’t oxidize or flake off like those metal-sheathed heaters do.
Plus, it uses radiant heat. It hits the substrate directly. It doesn’t mess with the surrounding air, so your laminar flow stays exactly where it should be.
Speed matters. A lot.
These lamps are built for a fast ramp-up. By packing the filament into a vacuum or halogen-filled quartz tube, we get intense short-wave IR radiation. You can dry surfaces in seconds. No more waiting around for minutes while your throughput crawls.
But a quick heads-up: keep an eye on your power density. If you push too much wattage through a short tube, you’re dealing with some serious heat flux. Just make sure your chassis cooling can handle the soak, or you might find your machine frame warping.
Getting them into your line
We made these to be a simple drop-in replacement for your drying modules.
In most setups, the seals are where things fall apart. We fixed that with specialized end-caps that stop leaks and keep particles from migrating.
One last tip: quartz expands when it gets hot. If your electrical contacts are too rigid, the lamp can shake loose or even arc during a cycle. We suggest using spring-loaded holders. It keeps the connection tight, the power steady, and your production line moving without any surprise downtime.
