The Trade-offs (The Stuff the Brochure Doesn’t Tell You)
Now, it’s not all perfect. High-density IR arrays put a lot of stress on your power distribution. And while Teflon is a lifesaver for heat, it’s stiffer than silicone. You can’t just cram it into a tight corner or bend it sharply, or you’ll stress the jacket. You’ve got to plan your cable trays for gradual, smooth bends. If you force it, you’re just asking for a mechanical failure right where the wire connects. We’ve designed these setups to slide right into the spots where your old resistive heaters used to live.
